Why Pray?

We pray because we have been commanded to pray. It’s not an option to pick up or drop off. It’s also not that we need to beat ourselves to pray. It is a delight to become a person of prayer. It is obedience to the Word of God resulting in greater outcomes.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 ESV “pray without ceasing”.

We pray so that we run away from the destructive desires of the flesh. Consistent life of prayer shapes our inner man, which needs Christ-like formation. In the spiritual formation of an individual, the life of prayer is the key to maintain our spiritual success.

We pray to encounter the presence of God. It is at the core of our heart that we want to create a tangible atmosphere of God’s presence so people can encounter God.

We pray to seek revival in our community! God, in his unhindered sovereignty, can grant us favour, leadership and success like Nehemiah. It would also require faithfulness with a clear agenda of seeing the restoration of any fallen and broken city.
James 5:16 ESV “Pray for one another, that you may be healed.”
Psalms 16:11 “You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
TRANSFORM THROUGH PRAYER
