The Luciferian Crime
Before we unpack The Luciferian Crime, I would like to introduce you to someone whom you should become aware of. But know this: this person is not all-powerful, does not have all authority, and does not have the final say over your life. Because he is still on God’s leash.
Who is that entity?
It is Lucifer.
We get this name not from media influence. Its origin is in Isaiah 14:12 ESV. The name Lucifer originates from the Latin Vulgate. In the Hebrew Bible, this entity is referred to as “O Day Star” or “Son of Dawn” in the English Standard Version.
“How you are fallen from heaven,
O Day Star, son of Dawn!
How you are cut down to the ground, you who laid the nations low!”
For now, we will simply call him Lucifer and deal with his crime.
A truly dangerous entity. Full of darkness. Full of chaos. Full of destruction. Full of false noise. Full of deception. Full of lies.
However, we also have a grand description of this entity in Ezekiel 28:11–19 ESV — the way God made Lucifer.
LUCIFER APPEARANCE
“Signet of Perfection”
Lucifer was full of beauty, wisdom, appearance, and status. He was not required to be on a keto diet, flexitarian diet, paleo diet, or any other diet that people today think is necessary for perfection. The point is this: God gave him the “signet of perfection.” It was not Lucifer’s own doing through discipline. It was given by God.
LUCIFER OUTFIT
“You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone was your covering, sardius, topaz, and diamond, beryl, onyx, and jasper, sapphire, emerald, and carbuncle; and crafted in gold were your settings and your engravings.”
Now this kind of outfit would still easily outwork many fancy red carpets and modern gala shows. This was divinely unique because God Himself was the perfect tailor of this outfit that He gave to Lucifer before his fall, before he messed everything up.
LUCIFER POSITION
“You were an anointed guardian cherub. I placed you; you were on the holy mountain of God; in the midst of the stones of fire you walked. You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created.”
Lucifer was elevated to a unique position with a good standing in his character. In our modern context, people work very, very hard to elevate themselves to become one of the top one percent in their nation so they can have a big “B” title in front of their names. But the position Lucifer had was full of splendor, unique power, unique control, unique cleverness, and much more.
I need to be careful here because I do not want to cross my exegetical limits by over-elevating Lucifer’s position. Simply put, he was far more powerful than you can imagine, or than any powerful person you may have ever met.
But still, Lucifer was on God’s leash.
NOW WE CAN JUMP INTO OUR CLIMAX
THE LUCIFERIAN CRIME
“You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created, till unrighteousness was found in you. In the abundance of your trade you were filled with violence in your midst, and you sinned; so I cast you as a profane thing from the mountain of God, and I destroyed you, O guardian cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. Your heart was proud because of your beauty; you corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor. I cast you to the ground; I exposed you before kings, to feast their eyes on you. By the multitude of your iniquities, in the unrighteousness of your trade you profaned your sanctuaries.”
Here are Two Quick Luciferian Crimes That I Can See:
Pride
Corruption
Because of these crimes, Lucifer lost everything that God had given him as a gift.
Now this same dark entity is crushed under the feet of the saints of God who follow Christ and understand the drama of spiritual warfare. In Christ, we are aware of Satan’s bait, and we do not live in fear.
But please note this: Lucifer is not done yet. His iniquities keep multiplying. He wants to devour every single person on this planet before his final time arrives, when God will cast him into hell, into eternal punishment. There will be no forgiveness there, only pain and torment.
Until then, Lucifer will continue to play his game.Beware of him. He is not the perfect being. He is a harmful dog. At the same time, do not get trapped in the pride and corruption of life. Pride is destructive. God hates it.
Don’t engage in “THE LUCIFERIAN CRIME.”
“Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.”
Proverbs 16:18 ESV
“Everyone who is arrogant in heart is an abomination to the Lord; be assured, he will not go unpunished.”
Proverbs 16:5 ESV
